Banners

When quoting a banner in Print IQ you need to be aware that there are two banner sizes available to choose from for the Banner Product.
These two sizes are called:
  1. Pull Up Banner (850x2285mm)
  2. Hanging Banner (850x2010mm)
The difference between the two is, the Pull Up Banner is used for Banner Stands (with option to add a base).

A Hanging Banner has no butt for a stand. It is assumed that you may be hanging this on a wall either portrait or landscape.

Select the Pull Up Banner if you need a stand, or you are replacing the print in a banner stand.

Things to keep in mind when designing a Pull Up Banner:

  1. Pull Up banners have a 275mm Butt at the bottom of the poster. This will be hidden in the dispensing roller. Although you should not put any important design elements within this butt area, you should bleed your background fully into this area.
  2. We also recommend a 35mm margin from the top of the Butt, this is to ensure no important information will be hidden in the roller of the stand.
  3. Allow a minimum of 35mm margin from the top of your page, this allows room for the clip that holds your banner when it’s up in the stand.
  4. A document height of 2285mm gives a variable visible height of approx. 2010mm once installed in the banner stand.
  5. File requires 3mm bleed, at minimum.
  6. File should be supplied at 100% scale
