InDesign PDF Export Settings

Introduction

You can use Export presets and install them when exporting a print-ready PDF from Indesign.
We’d recommend using these as they set the PDF up ready to go through Preflight in our system.

These settings are to be used in this system only. We cannot guarantee they will work elsewhere.


Instructions on how to install PDF export settings:

  1. Download the files.
  2. Unzip folder
  3. Open InDesign 
  4. Click File> Adobe PDF Presets> Define
  5. Click Load
  6. Select the pdf setting file (from the unzipped folder)
  7. Click Done
Note: Remember to select export with document bleed settings before exporting your files.
