CHART: Perfect Bound Minimum Spine Widths

Many of you will notice that our perfect bound quotes now include a Spine Width
The system is able to calculate the thickness of the text paper; the cover board and the glue to give a more accurate spine width.  

The minimum spine width we can bind successfully is 3mm.
This capability means the minimum page count we can bind can be set by thickness rather than page count.
If your spine width is less than 3mm, the quote will fail





If you have a specification you need to quote that falls below the above threshold, please submit an RFQ (Create Order > Request for Quote). Mention in the notes that your quote failed due to the spine being too thin. Our quoting team will be in touch with options.
