The key thing to remember when exporting your files for print is that you have bleed on your file. We do have export settings available for download and use in InDesign and Illustrator. See InDesign PDF Export Settings

If you don’t have the presets, select Press Quality from the Adobe PDF presets, and in the Marks and Bleeds area tick Crop Marks under the Marks heading. In the Bleed and Slug area tick Use Document Bleed Settings.
