Quotes: 'View Quotes' Board

Introduction

The Quotes Board displays all quotes created by you or by one of our staff members for you. Below, we'll take you through a few different functions so that you can navigate yourself around it easily.

How to View Quotes Board

The quotes board is accessed from the menu by clicking Quoting > View Quotes








Search Option Bar

The Option bar (see below) contains the following:



VIEW – This is set to display the Last 50 quotes by default:



A dropdown list also contains access to other quick filter options such as Previous Day, Week, Month etc:




MY QUOTES ONLY – Filters quotes created by You

 
Tip: If you can't see a quote that your account manager has previously sent, you may have this set to show My Quotes Only, change that to No, and you should then be able to see the quotes we've done on your behalf as well. 

FIND QUOTE – Enter a quote number to search for:



FILTER FUNNEL – Click the Filter icon to open the ability to filter quotes based on their status:



TEXT SEARCH – If you don't know the quote number you can enter text to search for instead. This can be used to search keywords in the columns shown: 





Note: Clear out the search by clicking the ‘x’ on the search bar:



CUSTOM COLUMNS – Configure the visible columns to display the details you require from the Change column visibility button:



In the dropdown, you can select what columns to add or hide from the board:




Wide Board View – There is an option to switch the view from the standard width view to a full-width view.
By ticking the Wide Board View, it will spread the columns out to utilise the full width of the screen.





Quote Status

The Quote Status in the far right column tells you whether or not you have already accepted a quote or not. 

If your quote status is one of the below, you can make updates to it:
- In Process
- Printed
- Awaiting Approval
- Awaiting Acceptance




If the status is Accepted or Rejected, this quote can no longer be updated and you will need to either create a new one or get our estimating team to do this for you. See Requesting a Quote (RFQ)

Click on the Q0XXXXX number in the left side column to open your quote up to the Order Details page.
