I've Placed my Order - What now?

Introduction

This guide is for end user customers & network partners only.
If you are a staff member based at our Grenada North production hub or,

If you can't login, please contact the Online Solutions Team.

Once you have clicked Place Order, made payment (if applicable), and uploaded your artwork, there are two steps left in the process before you file goes to our pre-press team. These steps are Preflight and Proofing. (The Proofing step is optional and needs to be added to your quote before placing the order).

Preflight

Preflight is an automatic step all our print jobs go through, and is started once your file has been uploaded and you have clicked Confirm on the Artwork Submission page.

This process checks your file to see if it is ok to print. It checks basic things like; if your file is the correct size, has bleed, is the correct number of pages, etc.

Once it has completed this process, the person who created the job will receive an email stating whether or not the file has passed the preflight check.

Preflight emails have three statuses:

  1. Passed: If you receive an email that states your file has passed preflight, it will progress to the next step (either sending a PDF Soft Proof or into production).

  1. Passed with Warnings: This email lets you know that your file has passed preflight, but there are a few things you need to be aware of with your file. You will need click the Accept & Continue button to accept the warning and then once done, your file will progress to the next step.
If you do not click Accept & Continue, your job will not move into production.
  1. Failed: If your file fails preflight, you will be sent an email stating why it has failed with a link to replace files.
Note: If you are unsure why your file has failed, please get in touch with your account manager for clarification.

Proofing

Once your file has passed preflight, if you have requested a PDF Soft Proof, this will be the next step in the process. Whoever you selected to be the recipient of the pdf proof on the quote, will then receive an email with a link to review.

Click the link in the email to review and approve or reject your proof.

Production

Once your file has passed preflight and your proof has been approved, your file will then go into production.
